- CAB Direct - Comprehensive coverage of agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal, dairy and veterinary sciences, entomology, and plant sciences. (1973+)
- Helminthological Abstracts (Series A: Animal & Human Helminthology) - World literature in parasitology and parasitic diseases. Available in print Index and also included in CAB Direct database. Print is shelved in the Babbidge Library Reference area at QL392.A1 H36.
- MDConsult - 36 medical texts, full text articles from clinical journals, practice guidelines, and patient education. Current.
- Medline/ PubMed - The premier database of world biomedical literature on clinical medicine and preclinical research. From the National Library of Medicine. Preferred access is through the PubMed version. (1966+)
- Web of Science - a multidisciplinary database indexing and abstracting journals in the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. An excellent source for citation searching. Coverage in the sciences is particularly strong, and this database should be included in any comprehensive search. 1994+ (go to Science Citation Index for earlier years)
