September 11, 2002 Commemoration at University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus

A University Metanoia was planned for November 12 - 14 in response to the terrorist attacks of Sept 11. The annoucement was in the Advance, October 29th, "Days of Reflection on September 11 Planned." See also the Advance, November 19, 2001detailing the events.

September 11, 2001 Eda Easton's exhibit on display January 22 - March 15, 2002 on the Plaza level of the Homer Babbidge Library.

War on Terrorism: News and Related IssuesUniversity of Richmond's page recently updated (12/14/01), includes a section on "Removal of Government Information from the Web" Security concerns have led a number of government agencies to remove "sensitive" information from their web sites.

Attack on America: Osama bin Laden, the Taliban and Terrorism East Carolina University's site contains many links to various information sources about Afghanistan, the Taliban, Osama bin Laden and al Qa'ida.

Government Publications on Terrorism University of Maryland Libraries site contains items available on the Internet. Items also available in paper list the call number. The Homer Babbidge Library also owns these in paper. They are located on Level B (northwest corner) in the Federal Documents Collection.

Government Information on World Terrorism This is a compilation by the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Terrorism and Attacks on the United States This site from Vanderbilt University includes government information and reports, indexes, educational sites, coping and helping resources, as well as news sources.
