Course-related Library Instruction - request general orientation, course-related instruction, and focused research training. Group and individual training sessions are available by appointment. For group sessions, please contact the liaison at least 2 weeks in advance.

Citation Linker (SFX)
Citation Linker is a quick tool to use when you have a citation for an article you need to locate. Enter the information you know about the citation into the online form and Citation Linker will search for the article in the UConn Libraries system. If it finds fulltext, either a link or the UConn Links icon will display.

Current Awareness and Alerting Services -Many of the libraries' licensed research databases and electronic journal collections offer users the ability to create research alert profiles - automated keyword search and tables of contents alerts for journals, sent weekly to an email address

New UConn Library Databases.
- Get notified when the library acquires a new library resource for your research. (In order to utilize a feed you will need what is known as a feed reader or aggregator. i.e. Bloglines, RSSFwd.com, SharpReader)

Library Web Tools - Keep track of UConn Library news through feed reader software and try out the firefox extension that provides direct access to the UConn Libraries resources.

Research Assistance - request help in selecting appropriate resources, performing database searches, or locating relevant materials at other institutions.

Citation Assistance - request help in verifying citations for publications, bibliographies, or Interlibrary Loan orders.

New Materials Requests - suggest titles to be added to the Libraries' collection.

Document Delivery/ Interlibrary Loan - After searching the Library Catalog, HOMER, get books and articles that the UConn Libraries may not own.
Virtual Catalog (BLC) - search and request titles from participating New England Libraries.
WorldCat ILL Direct - search and request titles from thousands of libraries worldwide.
